CPS Response to HMCPSI Area Assurance Inspection of CPS West Midlands

Her Majesty's Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate (HMCPSI) has today [3 October 2017] issued a report following its inspection of the performance of CPS West Midlands. This is the CPS response to that report.

CPS 2020 sets out our vision and organisational priorities for the next four years, and was co-written by staff from all parts of the CPS. Our focus is on delivering justice through excellent casework quality, and ensuring the public has confidence that the CPS is fair, effective and independent. We are committed to supporting the success of our people, building strong partnerships across the criminal justice system and continuously improving how we work.
