Fighting for justice: Go behind the scenes at the CPS
How the CPS brings criminals to justice is the subject of a series of documentaries which will be repeated on BBC Two later this month.
The series of three films kicks off with a case concerning modern slavery, followed by another about criminals flying delivery drones into prisons.
The third programme features the ‘Babes in the Wood’ case – which saw Russell Bishop convicted at the Old Bailey in December last year of killing two young girls in Brighton. Bishop had previously been acquitted of their murders more than 30 years ago.
The programme all feature exclusive access to CPS prosecutors and feature behind the scenes footage.
The Prosecutors programmes will be on BBC Two:
- Prisons, Drugs and Drones – 28 January at 11.15pm
- Modern Day Slavery – 29 January at 12:15am
- The Babes in the Wood Murders 30 January at 11.15pm
Following the showings, the programmes will be available on BBC iPlayer for 30 days.
