A man has been jailed for brutally killing his housemate after discovering that she had started a new relationship.

Sheldon Rodrigues, 30, was sentenced to life imprisonment at the Old Bailey today (8 March 2024) after being found guilty of murdering Stephanie Hansen. He will serve a minimum of 25 years.

Rodrigues spent over 150 hours eavesdropping his housemate using hidden surveillance devices planted across the home. He also stalked Ms Hansen’s new partner, on one occasion paying £100 to someone to follow him in their vehicle.

Shaun Pendlebury, Ashana Studholme and Lisa Richardson were sentenced at the Old Bailey on 1 March 2024 after being found guilty of murder at trial last year. Each defendant received a sentence of life imprisonment with a minimum term of 34 years.

Three people have been convicted after dominating, torturing and then brutally beating a woman to death.

A step-daughter and her boyfriend who lured a step-father to a flat before murdering him and disposing of his body in an unknown location have been convicted.

Surie Suksiri, 31, and her partner Juned Sheikh, 48, were both found guilty of murder and preventing the lawful and decent burial of a body at the Old Bailey today. 

Frank McKeever, Suksiri’s step-father, was last seen alive on Saturday, 28 August 2021 when he visited Suksiri at her Highbury flat in north London.

A man who made racist gestures at Son Heung-min during a Premier League match has been banned from football for three years.

Robert Garland, 44, of Croydon, made the racial gesture after the Tottenham Hotspur forward was substituted in the 89th minute against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on 6 May, 2023.
