- Please list the number of cases involving Common Protest Offences and Public Order Offences in 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24 (first three quarters)? If cost limits apply please only provide figures for the most recent quarters.
- Please list the number of specific offences (e.g. the number of Interference with the use or operation of key national infrastructure offences or the number of obstruction of the highway offences) and relevant legislation (e.g. Public Order Act 2023) in these cases in 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24 (first three quarters)? If cost limits apply please only provide figures for the most recent quarters.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) does hold the data you have requested.
Please see the attached Excel file “12170 DATA” and note the caveats therein. We noted that in your email dated 7 May 2024 you asked for information in relation to “Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1984 S68i”, we understand this to haven been a typing error, as that legislation does not exist and therefore, we have provided data in relation to the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 S68i.
