A TikTok user who continually posted antisemitic content to her thousands of followers has been sentenced.

Former Savill’s manager guilty of posting racist comment on social media after Euro 2020 final

A former manager at Savill’s Estate Agency has pleaded guilty to posting a racist comment on social media following the Euro 2020 final.

Andrew Bone, 41, posted the comment shortly after 11pm on 11 July 2021, using racist language about the players who failed to score after taking penalties in the final at Wembley stadium.

Martin Brogan, Senior Crown Prosecutor for CPS North West said: “Andrew Bone took to social media to post a hateful racist comment, and in doing so, he broke the law.

Racist social media post leads to football banning order for Burnley fan

A Burnley season ticket holder was given a football banning order today at Blackburn Magistrates' Court for three years after admitting posting a racist comment on a social media post.

John Southwell, 64, told officers in his police interview that he couldn’t remember if he had posted the offensive comment on a post featuring a Chelsea football player.

He went on to plead guilty at Blackburn Magistrates' Court on 5 August 2024.

On 8 October 2024, Southwell was given a £345 fine, uplifted due to the hate element and a three year football banning order was imposed.
