Apply for a secondment to our Extradition Unit
Our Extradition Unit
We're responsible for giving advice and support to colleagues across the Crown Prosecution Service on EU and non-EU import extradition cases. This includes requests to bring individuals back into the UK. We also represent overseas judicial authorities who are seeking extradition of individuals from England and Wales - facing trial in other countries.
We have a team of prosecutors who draft and prepare extradition requests in line with applicable laws and treaties of overseas countries for non-EU cases. And for EU cases our prosecutors give support for more complex extradition cases.
'I am privileged to work for the Crown Prosecution Service, as what I do makes a difference in people's lives, in my community, and internationally.'
