A group of protesters have been found guilty of breaking into the head office of an international defence technology firm and causing thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Stavit Sinai, 38, Ronnie Barkan, 47, Eliza Sarson-Diment, 24, Archie Sadler, 26, Finton Owens, 25, Jarvey Georgson, 26, and Paul Shortt, 50, used sledgehammers to smash windows and gain entry to the head office of Elbit Systems UK in Bristol on Sunday 15 May 2022.  

Victoria Cook, Chief Crown Prosecutor for CPS South West, said: “CPS South West’s Complex Casework Unit has today authorised two murder charges against a 14-year-old boy following the deaths of 16-year-old Max Dixon and 15-year-old Mason Rist.

“The 14-year-old, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, is now the seventh person to be charged in connection with this case.

“As criminal proceedings are active, there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.”

Victoria Cook, Chief Crown Prosecutor for CPS South West, said: “Prosecutors from CPS South West’s Complex Casework Unit have authorised two murder charges against a 17-year-old boy following the deaths of 16-year-old Max Dixon and 15-year-old Mason Rist.

“The 17-year-old, who cannot be identified due to his age, is the sixth individual to be charged in connection with the case.

An organised crime group who trafficked women from Eastern Europe to exploit as sex workers across the South West and beyond have been sentenced following a prosecution by the South West Complex Casework Unit.

The group’s ringleader, Maciej Kozlowski, 52, of Gloucester, was also convicted of raping a woman who the group later exploited at their network of brothels.

Prosecutors used evidence to show that Kozlowski, who went under various aliases, led the trafficking operation with Piotr Lebek, 57, of Gloucester, as his main accomplice.
