Members of a gang who smuggled cocaine with a street value of £200 million inside a shipment of bananas have been jailed for more than 116 years.
 
Petko Zhutev, Ghergii Diko, and Bruno Kuci pleaded guilty to smuggling the shipment into the UK while Erik Muci and Olsi Ebeja were found guilty of their involvement following a five-month trial at the Old Bailey earlier this year.

David Spring, 61, of Sutton, David Probert, 50, of Mill End, Hertfordshire, and David Notley, 67, of Redbridge, pleaded guilty to violent disorder and were sentenced to 18 months’, 14 months’ and 20 months’ imprisonment respectively at Inner London Crown Court.
