A mother and father who allowed their disabled daughter’s health to deteriorate so much that she died have been sentenced at Swansea Crown Court.
Sarah Lloyd-Jones, 40, and Alun Titford, 45, failed in their duty of care towards their 16-year-old daughter, Kaylea, who had spina bifida. Their lack of care for her basic needs, such as nutrition and hygiene were so poor that it was deemed a criminal offence.
