CPS Procurement

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) spends over 60 million a year on externally purchased goods and services, ranging from stationery, printing, reprographics and facilities contracts to more specialised service provision, for example, management consultancy and training and development.

The provision of these goods and services play a vital part in supporting the Department to meet its business objectives. It makes excellent economic sense, as well as meeting our obligations to Parliament and the public, to ensure that we obtain best value for money (VFM) from all our diverse purchases.

Within the following pages you will find documents, which are aimed to assist in understanding the procurement process at the CPS.

The CPS is also currently piloting the Delta Electronic Tendering Service. eTendering is capable of handling the full life-cycle tendering process from initial notification of requirement, through pre-qualification of suppliers to the issue and receipt of tenders. Potential suppliers are encouraged to register with our eTendering portal where they can gain easy access to lists of CPS' current & future tender opportunities both above and below EC thresholds; view Prior Information and Contract Award Notices.
