To support the Government's Social Mobility and Youth Employment Strategy and our Aim to maintain a motivated, engaged and representative workforce, we offer a range of different Apprenticeship Schemes.
The CPS Apprenticeship Programme lets eligible staff apply for either general Apprenticeships covering subjects such as team leading, business administration and management skills or those specifically tailored to the business of the CPS such as witness care and a Criminal Prosecution Paralegal Apprenticeship, which can then lead to externally recognised qualifications.
Since their launch in the CPS, we have offered over 150 Level 2 NVQ Apprenticeship places and 10 Level 3 NVQ Civil Service Fast Track Apprenticeship places.
Information on Apprenticeship opportunities can be found on the Civil Service Jobs website.
For an insight into what a CPS Apprenticeship can lead to, please read the profile of one of our former Apprentices, Administrative officer Joe Murphy.
